Issue 54 of the IIEA Brexit Brief can be downloaded here.

A tumultuous fortnight in the UK Parliament started with the Prime Minister presenting her deal to the House of Commons and culminated in a vote of confidence in the Prime Minister’s leadership. Support for the Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration appears thin on the ground in Parliament, leading to Theresa May heading back to Brussels to try to secure last minute concessions on the Northern Ireland backstop ahead of the December European Council summit.

Brexit Brief, published by the IIEA’s UK Project Group, covers developments in the on-going debate over the UK’s vote to Leave the European Union. It is part of a wider communications programme, which will be highlighted on the Institute’s website.
