Following a final attempt to sell her deal to Parliament, Prime Minister Theresa May presented her proposed Withdrawal Agreement Bill, containing 10 points including concessions such as a vote on a second referendum, and a commitment to examining alternative arrangements to the backstop. After her proposal met with significant opposition from within both her own party and the opposition, the Prime Minister announced the date for her resignation, which will take place on 7 June 2019.
