The UK’s vote to leave the European Union on 23 June 2016 has dominated the media debate, and provoked reaction and counter-reaction from a wide range of sources, including Member State Goverment’s, commentators, opposition parties and the European institutions.

This interactive timeline, which draws on the IIEA’s recent publication, Brexit: A Status Report, provides a history of some of the key events since the referendum, and notes some of the important dates ahead.
