IIEA today presented to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment. Joseph Curtin, Senior Fellow, outlined implications of the EU’s 2030 Climate proposal for Ireland, focusing on ramifications for the “fiscal space”, as well as the need to “rural proof” and “social proof” low-carbon transition.
