On Thursday, 29 October 2015, the IIEA, in association with the Netherlands Embassy in Ireland, hosted an expert workshop on sustainable agriculture. The workshop was attended by over 35 researchers and representatives from farming, industry, government and finance based in Ireland and the Netherlands. Its purpose was to consider agricultural policy in the medium and long-term, in preparation for the OECD agricultural ministers’ meeting expected to take place in April 2016.

The workshop was organised by the IIEA and the Netherlands Embassy, in partnership with the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, and with participation from the OECD and the European Commission.
