About the Speech
The Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) led by Ms. Zibelman is an innovatory regulatory and retail model for public utility delivery in New York State. The emergence of REV followed the devastation caused by Superstorm Sandy — the second-costliest hurricane in United States history – to utilities infrastructures in the state. Recognising the need for energy policy to adjust to “the new normal of extreme weather” as well as shifting market models and demands REV seeks to reform the utility industry, lead on climate change and grow New York’s economy.
