About the Speech:

In his address, Professor Tsoukalis asked “what has gone wrong” with the European project and what are the main challenges and policy choices facing Europeans? He examined these questions in the context of the Eurozone crisis, the migration crisis, Brexit and the rise of anti-systemic forces across Europe and beyond. Professor Tsoukalis also discussed whether or not European economic and political integration has reached “the end of the road”, and if so, what the consequences of such a development could be.
