The debate over the Future of the EU27 is currently centre-stage at both EU level and in the Member States. In his address to the IIEA, Jorge Toledo, Spain’s Secretary of State for European Affairs, presented the Spanish vision for the future of the EU after Brexit, noting the challenges ahead and the Spanish policy priorities for the EU27.
About the Speaker:
Mr Toledo has been Secretary of State for European Affairs since December 2016. He has had a long and distinguished diplomatic career spanning two decades. He previously served as Director of the Department of European Affairs and the G-20 at the Cabinet Office of the Presidency of the Government from 2012 to 2016. He has also served as Spanish Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal.
