László Andor gave a keynote address to the IIEA on June 14 2017, where he discussed the recent European Commission reflection paper on the social dimension of Europe. Mr Andor, a Hungarian economist, is Senior Fellow at IMK (Düsseldorf) and Visiting Professor at ULB (Brussels). He was the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion in the European Commission (2010-14). From 2005-2010 he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), representing the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary and Slovakia.
