On 5 March 2018, Pol Morillas took part in a panel discussion at the IIEA entitled “Thinking About The EU27: Expert Views From Across Europe”. Mr Morillas is Deputy Director of Research and Senior Research fellow in European Affairs at CIDOB, the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs. He is also a member of the Observatory of European Foreign Policy, and has held many previous roles, including Head of the Euro-Mediterranean Policies Department of the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed), Coordinator of the Political and Security Committee of the Council of the EU, and Advisor on External Action at the European Parliament.
