This event is being co-organised by the IIEA, the Digital Hub and the Embassy of Germany. Dr Sandro Gaycken examines the overlap between digital technology, economics and politics. He sets out how innovative technologies can be both developed and regulated for. He also discusses his research in the fields of cyber intelligence, cyber-defence and IT security as well as his experience in developing the German foreign cyber policy strategy.

About the Speaker:

Dr Gaycken is the Director of the Digital Society Institute in Berlin, a research institute for strategic digital topics at the European School of Management and Technology Berlin. Dr Gaycken is a technology and security researcher, exploring the nexus of digital technology, economies and politics. His research focus is on strategic cyberwarfare, cyberdefense, cyberintelligence, and high security IT.
