He discusses the unique history and the future direction of the Criminal Assets Bureau which has served as a template across the European Union, including its structure, objectives and functions. Pat Clavin was appointed as Chief Bureau Officer (CBO) of the Criminal Assets Bureau in 2016 to manage and control the administration and business of the Bureau. As a Chief Superintendent, he served in Garda Headquarters and the DMR West Division prior to his appointment as Chief Bureau Officer of CAB.
