In his address, Mr Davies provided insight into the rich and untapped data sets in the home that can be unlocked by advanced Artificial Intelligence and discussed how this can be used to fuel the democratisation of energy. He brought this to life by showcasing Verv’s live community trials where its blockchain-based peer-to-peer energy trading platform is being implemented to drive down electricity bills and improve access to green energy.

Peter Davies is the CEO and Founder of Verv and the VLUX Token. He is an engineer, software architect and tech enthusiast on a mission to create positive social change through innovative technology. After graduating university with a degree in Computing, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mr Davies went on to found a LabVIEW engineering consultancy Austin Consultants and became one of only four Certified LabVIEW software Architects in the UK. He won Innovator of the Year at the 2016 Business Green Technology Awards.
