The effects of the UK’s departure from the EU will not only shape the futures of the 27 remaining Member States, but the globe as a whole. Hungary, as a dedicated and important Member State, will be a constructive partner as the EU navigates its way through its next chapter. In his address to members, Secretary of State Takács outlined the role his country is intending to play.
About the Speaker:
Prior to his current position as Secretary of State with responsibility for European Affairs, Minister Takács had a successful career in the Hungarian Diplomatic Service having served as Deputy State Secretary for Global Affairs and Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy, among other positions. Minister Takács holds an MA in European Studies and Law and an MA in International Relations.
