Volker Turk, Assistant High Commissioner for Protection, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, addressed the IIEA yesterday in a speech entitled ‘Global Protection Challenges: What Does The Refugee Experience Teach Us?’.
He was subsequently interviewed by RTE and the The Irish Times on the UN’s perspective of the refugee crisis.
