Iztok Mirošič spoke to the IIEA on 8 November 2017, where he reflected on the policy priorities on which the EU will have to focus in the future. Mr Mirošič is State Secretary at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a position he has held since early 2017. Prior to this position, he served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Libya and Tunisia (2013-15), to Italy and Malta (2010-13), and to the United Kingdom (2004-08).
