Drawing on her latest book, For a Left Populism, Professor Mouffe analyses the “populist moment” that we are currently witnessing in Western Europe. She argues that the only way to resist the growth of right-wing populist parties is by the development of a left populism aiming at the recovery and radicalisation of democracy. This timely address takes place less than a month before the European Parliament elections.
