The IIEA’s Young Professionals’ Network (YPN) is a forum which attracts young professionals between the ages of 20 and 35 to engage with leading thought leaders from politics, business, and the media in an informal after-work setting.
Our Mission: To engage, develop and connect young professionals interested in public policy and international affairs
Engage: The YPN gives its members insight into current developments in Irish and international affairs. Members have the opportunity to ask questions of, and present ideas to, leading policymakers and thought leaders.
Develop: The YPN builds its members’ capacity to contribute to public policy, and develops their understanding of international affairs
Connect: The YPN connects its members with likeminded and innovative future leaders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Who We Are: The YPN draws members from a wide range of backgrounds, including the civil service, NGOs, the legal profession, journalism, embassy officials, academia and the private sector.
