At this event Paddy Cosgrave, Founder of the Web Summit, participated in a fireside disucssion at the Institute on the theme of Irish start-ups and their potential to become leading companies, not just in Ireland or Europe, but globally.
Paddy was ideally placed to speak to the YPN on this topic given his knowledge of the Irish digital start-up sector, as well as his own personal experience of developing the Web Summit and expanding it globally to host events such as the Collision Conference in Las Vegas and the Rise Conference in Hong Kong.
The Young Professionals’ Network (YPN) is a forum, which attracts future leaders between the ages of 20 and 35 to engage with leading business and political figures, broadcasters, commentators and thought leaders in an informal afterwork setting. Membership of the YPN is free.
